Why use Ash?

PFA, when used as a fill material, is lightweight, with low permeability and some self hardening properties which make it ideal as a fill material.
When used in a cementitious material, in combination with Portland cement, it improves pumpability, long-term strength and resistance to chemical attack, making it suitable for grouting applications and high strength concretes.
